On March 13, 2022, in Akhalkalaki, within the framework of the EU GS project co-financed by the European Union, a training was held for the beneficiary schools’ principals and teachers of Armenian origin. A total of 15 school principals and teachers from 6 public schools of Akhalkalaki, Khorenia, Matchatia and Kulikami public schools attended the training.
Strengthening the joint effort of secondary education establishments, parents and civil society was the topic of the training and it was led by Dr. Giorgi Lekveishvili and Dr. Marekh Nikatchadze, co-authors of the corresponding study module of the EU GS methodological manual. Consecutive translation into Armenian was provided as not all the attendees were fluent in Georgian.
The training aimed at introducing those mechanisms that favour creating positive learning environment in schools and contribute to developing the united school approach. Over and above this, participants were given the opportunity to discuss the planning methods of activities oriented at increasing the quality of school life inclusiveness.
At the end, all the participants were given a certificate of attendance.
