An information session was held for entrants interested in studying at European University’s International Relations bachelor’s program.
70 entrants attended the online meeting, ten of whom received individual consultations at the end of the main session based on a prior request.
The head of the program, Assistant Professor Tatia Dolidze, who at the same time happens to be the EU GS project manager, introduced the contents, goals and desired results of the program. Special attention was paid to the European Studies module, which includes seven basic training courses about the European Union.
Prof. Dolidze was assisted by the managers of the educational process and international relations office who provided the entrants with more specific information. I.e entrants were informed about the tuition fees, scholarship and international mobility opportunities. They also learnt about eligibility requirements and enrollment procedures. Exchange programs to the European Union aroused special interest among the attendees.
In the context of individual consultations, the entrants were mostly interested in the flexibility of the program, how much it would be possible to combine studies with their jobs. Questions were also asked about the possibility of providing students with an individual plan in case they do not have an appropriate level of English.
Several attendees expressed their desire to visit the university physically, and check the facilities and infrastructure.
