On March 30-31, 2022 a two-day online training was held for the school principals and teachers of the beneficiary schools within the framework of the EU co-financed Jean Monnet Project “Advancing European values and standards in Georgian schools”.

Online training sessions were attended by those beneficiaries who had previously been, for various reasons, unable to physically attend the trainings held in Tbilisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Marneuli and Akhalkalaki. In particular, the case concerns a total of 30 principals and teachers from Ambrolauri, Mestia, Akhalkalaki, Gori, Mtskheta, Batumi and Tbilisi beneficiary schools, for whom the project team planned this activity.

The project trainers, European University professors, Lela Abdushelishvili and Mariam Kilanava, trained them in teaching and assessment methods. Attendees expressed their gratitude for this additional opportunity and acknowledged the importance of the provided theoretical and practical information.
