On 18 April 2022, the third and final meeting of the Tripartite Consultation Group was held at European University as part of the EU GS project co-funded by the EU.

The Rector of the European University, Nino Taliashvili, welcomed the working group gathered at the University and thanked them for their contribution during the project.

The project implementation team reviewed the trainings conducted in different regions of Georgia and presented the feedback received by the school principals and teachers through the survey conducted for that very purpose. 

As a rule, the meeting was attended by members of the project implementation team, principals of the beneficiary schools and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

All three parties expressed their respect for each other and the satisfaction with the format of cooperation during the project.

 “It is important that universities are so actively involved and support both schools and the Ministry of Education in various areas. An extraordinary manual has been created to help schools, school leaders, in their educational process and general activities, ”- Mariam Chikobava, Deputy Head of the Preschool and General Education Development Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, told reporters.

“It is especially valuable that the trainings were conducted in the municipalities populated by ethnic minorities and they were offered specially developed methodological manuals in Armenian and Azerbaijani languages,” said Nino Taliashvili, Rector of the European University.

“I think it is very important to introduce European values in the teaching-learning process in modern education, and I am proud to have been part of this project,” added Tamar Abazadze, principal of Tbilisi Public School #6.
