On February 19-20, 2022 in the framework of the EU co-financed EU GS project, the third training for the principals and teachers of the beneficiary schools took place in Telavi.
A total of 22 school principals and teachers from 6 public schools of Akhmeta, Kvareli, Telavi and Borjomi attended the two-day training.
Topics of the training for Eastern Georgia were chosen based on the results, findings and recommendations of the field research conducted within the first phase of the project.
The project trainer, prof. Ekaterine Natsvlishvili trained the attendees on the topic of reforming the assessment system. Prof. Nino Gvaramadze who is the EU GS project trainer as well, addressed the issues of promoting the idea of tolerance and equality. It is important to note that professors Natsvlishvili and Gvaramadze are the authors of the respective study modules of the EU GS methodological manual.
The training was carried out in a fully interactive mode with the active involvement of the principals and teachers. The material provided by the trainers included not only theoretical but also practical component, which aroused special interest among the school principals and teachers.
At the end of the two-day training, participants were awarded certificates of attendance.
