EU-GS

On February 26, 2022, in the city of Marneuli, a training for ethnically Azerbaijani teachers and principals of schools benefiting from the EU-co-funded EU GS Jean Monnet project was held. 

The training lasted one-day and comprised two thematic sessions. At the first session, the author of the respective module of the EU GS Methodological Manual, project trainer, Professor Nino Gvaramadze spoke about democratic institutions. At the second session, the need to raise awareness about national and cultural identity was discussed by the co-authors of the abovementioned manual, Giorgi Lekveishvili and Marekh Nikachadze.

The training included both a theoretical component and practical exercises. Accordingly, it was conducted in a fully interactive mode, with the active involvement of the participants.

12 principals and teachers from Marneuli, Rustavi, Akhali Dioknisi and Tamarisi public schools attended the training.

At the end of the day, participants that attended both sessions received a certificate of attendance.
