Nika Chitadze is a specialist in Caucasus/Black Sea Region geopolitics, World Politics, Energy Security and strategic affairs. Current positions: 1. Invited Professor of the European University; 2. Professor of the International Black Sea University. 3. Director of the Center for International Studies. Since 1998 he has been involved in teaching activities at the several different Universities of Georgia. He is also President of the George C. Marshall Alumni Union, Georgia – International and Security Research Center.  Previously he served as senior advisor on the National Security Council of Georgia, also held senior positions in the Department of Strategic and Military Policy at the Georgian Ministry of Defense and foreign policy research and analysis center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. He has received educational credentials in Georgia (Tbilisi State University and Diplomatic Academy of Georgia) as well as several international higher educational institutions, including University of Oxford in the UK, George C. Marshall European College for Security Studies (Germany). He is author of more than 280 researches and articles, including the topics related to the European Union and European integration and six  books on Geopolitics, Human Geography and International Relations.  

Nika Chitadze also has school teaching experience. Particularly, he was teaching at the school of the American University of Humanities (2005-2006), European school (2011-2012). Within the 2017-2021, he was teaching at the 10-11th classes at the private school AIBI Mtiebi. Subjects: Civil Education, World Geography, Country Studies.
